I’ve always been a lover of movement and enjoyed playing sports and being very active. I first started practicing yoga in my home country, Argentina, as a way to release stress, cope with anxiety and find balance within my mind and body. Once I moved to the US, I decided to continue developing my yoga practice until the studio where I regularly practiced started offering yoga teacher training. That’s when I felt inspired and motivated to take the training and became a 200-hour certified yoga instructor in 2020. After completing my first training at Honor Yoga Washington, New Jersey, I decided I wanted to dive deeper into anatomy and functional movement and I became a LYT Yoga teacher. In 2022, I completed my LYT Level 2/500-hour training. I’ve also taken many courses and training and continue studying, practicing and helping my students and clients move better, have more energy, release stress and be stronger and vibrant.

What is the LYT Method?

 

Developed by a licensed physical therapist, LYT focuses on core strengthening, yoga flows and functional movement to provide a full body training method that helps you improve and care for your body.

  • It makes you stronger: We work the body in a variety of ways that put demand on the muscles in a manner that will make them stronger.

  • Core strength: The core is everything but the limbs and it needs to be strong and integrated to have better posture, to move better and to prevent injuries. 

  • LYT increases flexibility of the tissues: We move in different planes (front and back, side to side, up and down) and in different levels and developmental stages that mobilize the tissues which increases overall flexibility.

  • It improves posture: We reestablish the postural pathway that helps us improve our posture through a neutral pelvis, neutral spine and neutral neck and an integrated core. We learn to stand taller.

  • Better adaptability: Another important benefit is improved balance and responsiveness.

  • LYT style yoga mobilizes fascia (connective tissue) in ways that other movement systems do not.

  • It makes you feel better, calm and energized: We fine tune the nervous system systematically which releases stress and makes you feel calm but energized.

  • LYT Yoga is a learning experience: It is movement and meditation all in one. It increases vitality and happiness, and gives you more sense of peace and clarity.

I created the workplace wellness series based on the LYT Method which uses functional, smart and safe movement patterns, so that your team can practice online and on demand and feel their best.
